    • The Harmonised Amateur Radio Examination Certificate (HAREC), which enables radio amateurs who have successfully passed a HAREC-standard exam in one country to obtain a licence in another country (the Irish exam is a HAREC-standard exam)
    • Arrangements which make it possible for radio amateurs from CEPT countries* to operate during short visits to other CEPT countries* without obtaining an individual temporary licence from the visited CEPT country
